Co-Chairman
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 9th International Multidisciplinary Breast Conference, a meeting that continues to grow in scope, impact, and collaboration. Now in its ninth year, this conference reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing comprehensive, patient-centered breast cancer care through multidisciplinary engagement.
This year marks an important milestone, as the conference will be held for the first time in Kuwait, in collaboration with the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Kuwait Breast Oncoplasty and Reconstruction Society, and in association with key national partners, including the Ministry of Health of Kuwait.
The scientific program has been thoughtfully designed to offer both depth and breadth. We will begin with a one-day pre-conference oncoplastic workshop, featuring a combination of didactic lectures and hands-on training. This will be followed by two full days of multidisciplinary scientific sessions, bringing together experts from surgery, oncology, radiology, pathology, and allied specialties. What makes this year’s conference particularly special is the inclusion of a live surgery session, along with multiple sessions addressing emerging and evolving topics in breast cancer care. These include new innovations in breast cancer management, artificial intelligence, oncoplastic breast surgery, management of high-risk lesions, and de-escalation of therapy. All sessions are aligned with our theme:
“Personalized and Precise: The New Era of Tailored Breast Cancer Treatment.”
We are confident that this meeting will provide a rich educational experience, foster meaningful dialogue, and strengthen collaboration across disciplines and borders.
We look forward to welcoming you to Kuwait and to an engaging, inspiring, and forward-looking conference.
